My father named me after my grandfather, his name was Candelario which means candlelight in Spanish. My grandfather's nickname was Lallo, so I received his nickname as my first name. Most of my friends call me "Lay Low" because that’s how my name is usually mispronounced.

I graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo in May of 2007. My major was Mass Communications with an emphasis in New Media Studies and also received a minor in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in Web Development. Upon my graduation I was hired as a Web Developer for Colorado State University-Pueblo's Information Technology department where I worked for 11 years.
